We are a family gardening business based in Appleton, Cheshire. We specialise in garden and border design, planting and professional pruning and garden renovation. We look after a number of larger gardens in the local area.
Hello I'm Heather
and I founded the business in 2016. I have years of practical experience working with plants in a variety of gardens. I have a garden design qualification with the English Gardening School based at the Chelsea Physic Garden. The garden design work has become a focus for the business in the last couple of years.
I enjoy working with people to transform their gardens by adding plants that combine to provide year-round interest and structure. A particular passion of mine is to create gardens to attract pollinators and wildlife too.

I joined Heather in the business as it began to expand in late 2017 . I hold the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the
Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development
and completed professional rose pruning training at the renowned David Austin Roses.
I enjoy all aspects of gardening and have a particular interest in seasonal pruning, soil health, border planting and plant nutrition.
We are always keen to add to our knowledge and take inspiration from a variety of gardens around the UK and love to visit gardens on our travels abroad.
Environmental ethos
We always seek to garden in a sustainable way. We use responsibly sourced materials, including high quality plants from local nurseries, peat free composts and organic plant feeds.
We encourage our clients to save rainwater by installing water butts, add organic mulches on their borders to reduce the need for watering and to make their own compost.
To reduce our environmental impact we have invested in high quality, professional lithium ion battery powered tools and these also reduce noise for our customers and their neighbours.
